BDR is about unexpected value. Not a discount store, but a store with a strong core range and fresh, trend-based offerings. The store's needed to be bright and exciting, with an almost carnival atmosphere of fun, creating an engaging shopping experience for a broad demographic. With two locations, Southland Shopping Centre, Werribee Plaza, and a third location on its way, each store showcases unique design elements and clearly defined offers that draw customers in and make shopping fun.

Bold & Bright
At Southland Shopping Centre, we introduced the new identity and graphic system throughout the store to define different zones. These graphics were applied to extruded surfaces, adding depth and visual interest. The bright patterns and playful icons not only delineated the store and made customer navigation easier but also created a lively and engaging atmosphere.










A Shopping Experience Full of Energy
With a smaller footprint at the Werribee Plaza store, we explored ways to maximise space without losing the brand’s impact. This led to the idea of extending graphics upward with arch and bulkhead shapes, a concept that inspired the architectural detailing that followed. By bringing the graphics onto the ceiling, we were able to keep brand elements consistent while creating a sense of movement and openness that made the space feel more dynamic.





Across both locations, the vibrant graphics, bold signage, and smart use of space come together to create an environment that’s fun and exciting to explore. Each design choice was made to enhance the in-store experience, ensuring that every visit to BDR feels fresh, fun, and full of energy.
